 Ah, the pinafore: the effortless skirt. All the frilliness of a skirt without those horrible waistband marks! Not necessarily an ideal piece for chesty girls given the suspenders, but I wear what I want. (And so should you!)

My outfit today, inspired by the picture on the right (a post I had seen on pinterest), takes the classic polished look of a varsity jacket and pairs it with the shorts and tights fad. Booties and acid wash jeans add to the edgy vibe on this classic.

Spruce up a plain plaid flannel shirt with some chic high-waisted shorts and hippie-chic sandals. This is actually my boyfriend's shirt, but I tied it just above the waist of these cute shorts to add a girly look to it. (Sandals from Payless)
